5th Navy Open Shooting Championship 2018
At the above Championship held on 13th October 2018, Muneer Ahmed secured 3rd place in the 10m Air Pistol Novices. We wish him well for greater success in the future.
Junior Air Pistol shooter Asfak Ahmad scored 520 points out of 600. He was placed 4th among the Junior Shooters and this performance is his personal best. Youth Air Rifle shooter Ahmed Sulaiman improved in his second big Competition by scoring 482 points out of 600.
All this is the result of the untiring efforts of Ibrahim Hamid (SSP Rtd, ISSF Grade A Judges License) who is an active member of the Group of Sixties. We should give him all support by providing him all facilities and equipment to achieve even greater results.
Following on the success of our boys in recent events, Aga Barrie one of our best Shooters in yesteryear, with his close old boys in Canada (Faizal Ackiel and the rest), came forward and gave a donation, to purchase Air rifles. Aga has been in the forefront and has contributed immensely with motivation and support to our Zahirian Shooters. On behalf of the College and our Group of Sixties, Ibrahim Hamid sends his thanks and blessings to the donors
